AMAZING TUNA MELT


îNGREDîENTS

  • 2 cups Best-Ever Tunâ Sâlâd clîck for recîpe
  • 6 tâblespoons unsâlted butter softened
  • 8 slîces sourdough breâd 1/4" thîck
  • 8 slîces cheddâr cheese
  • 1 to 2 tomâtoes slîced
  • Kosher sâlt ând freshly ground blâck pepper

îNSTRUCTîONS

  1. Smeâr butter over one sîde of eâch breâd slîce
  2. Heât â medîum-sîzed skîllet over medîum hîgh heât ând âdd remâînîng butter.
  3. Meânwhîle, buîld the sândwîches by stârtîng wîth 1 breâd slîce, buttered sîde down. âdd 1 slîce of cheese, then âbout 1/2 cup of the tunâ sâlâd, then 1 or 2 slîces tomâto, â pînch of sâlt ând pepper, ânother slîce of cheese, ând ânother slîce of breâd, buttered sîde on top. Repeât to buîld 4 sândwîches.
  4. Cârefully âdd 1 or 2 sândwîches înto the hot skîllet. Cook untîl lîghtly browned on the bottom, âbout 2 to 3 mînutes.
  5. Flîp ând cook the other sîde untîl toâsted on the bottom, ânother 2 to 3 mînutes.
  6. Repeât wîth remâînîng sândwîches.
  7. Cut în hâlf ând serve ât once.
  8. Enjoy!
